Erith & Belvedere started well and could have had a goal or two in the first 5 minutes but found themselves a goal down against the run of play, The Deres showed great character again in keeping their shape and discipline, Reggie Yembra equalised after 10 minutes with a fine headed goal, Dan Teeley pulled off a fantastic save to keep the score level before captain Harry Harding put the Deres 2-1 in front after taking the ball off the Meridian keeper and smashing it into the back of the net on 41 minutes, In the 63rd minute Harry Harding was brought down in the penalty area and then picked himself up to score from the resulting penalty to give the Deres a 3-1 lead, Erith & Belvedere manager Owen Jones replaced Reggi Yembra with David Olayokun in the 65th minute, Olayokun repaid his gaffer with two goals 71st and 85th minutes giving the Deres a fantastic 5-1 victory,
