Reserves Vs Old Roan

Our game as Old Roan was so nearly our first 3pts of the season. New signing Pierre Ndekey Bojang started in place of the missing Jackie Ouattarra.  First half was quite a dominant display from us, but occasionally OR broke through our defense. One such attack pulled a marvelous 3 saves in the space of about 20 seconds from Zano Ndekey Bojang. Unfortunately we couldn't keep them out for long and they got a goal from a poor defended corner. So we went in at HT 1-0 down .  Second half, and whatever was said to the Deres at the break, must have got through to them as Pierre scored his first goal for us. Soon after that, Zano hit a long goal kick which found its way to Pierre again who superbly slotted home to make it 2-1 to the Deres. Que wild celebrations on the E&B bench .  The euphoria didn't last too as about 10 mins later, the OR striker got away from Jimmy Mitchell and took a shot. The guys on the bench all thinking it was going agonisingly wide, we're silenced as the ball managed to find its way inside the post and giving OR their equaliser.  So the game ended 2-2 and points shared by both teams. 

Great game . On to Beckenham next week
