AWAY, away away away

Due to the pitch renovations that have started we are unable to play any home pre season friendlies.
However, we have arranged four away friendlies as follows:
Saturday 8 August: Snodland Town
Saturday 15 August: Phoenix Sports
Saturday 22 August: Stansfeld
Tuesday 25 August: Greenways
Of course these games will be behind closed doors for the time being.
Meanwhile the constitution of the Southern Counties East Football League for 2020-21 has been announced, and we welcome two new clubs to the division: Balham, who will be groundsharing at AFC Croydon Athletic, and Tower Hamlets, who will be groundsharing at Phoenix Sports. We haven't played either club before in our history.
This brings the SCEFL premier division to 21 clubs and thus 40 games. We have played that many league games only once in the past 15 seasons, and that was our Ryman North campaign of 2013-14 which involved 46 matches. The provisional date for the start of our league season is Saturday 5 September.
