CUP DRAW DAY!
Always an exciting day which brings the footy season that bit closer. Here are the Deres' draws in the Cup and Vase.
FA CUP
Extra Preliminary, 6 August: Raynes Park Vale (a)
Preliminary, 20 August: Varndeanians or Hythe Town (h)
FA VASE
1st Qualifying, 27 August: East Preston (a)
2nd Qualifying, 24 September: Lewisham Borough or Broadbridge Heath (a)
We've never played Raynes Park Vale, Varndeanians or Broadbridge Heath. We won 2-1 at East Preston in the FA Cup preliminary round in 2008. We've played Lewisham Borough four times in the SCEFL second tier and won every time ... and we've played Hythe 31 times (but not in the last decade) and trail by 12 wins to 11.
