Everybody needs good neighbours!

The Deres have been drawn away to Welling Town in the first round proper of the FA Vase.

Following the 9-2 rout of Oakwood yesterday, which equalled our biggest cup win since 1952, we might have been hoping for a home tie or at least an exotic away trip to a new destination - but instead it's Bayliss Avenue and the team that pipped us for the league title last season.  The league game between the two sides during the title run-in was a cracker, so let's hope for another one this time - and a different result.

The tie will be played on Saturday 12 October.
